The OSG 6th Woodrunners was founded in 2008 by group scoutmaster Chun-Yin Chong & George Stecher and originally started with the adult section of OSG called Rovers.  By 2014, with the help of fellow scoutmaster Greg Wierschk, they introduced the first youth members to the group. Even though the group is located in Anoka county there are members as far as Eau Claire, WI. The 6th Woodrunners are one of the original groups in the organization still active today.
